Title

New Mexico - The Sante Fe New Mexican

Description

The Santa Fe New Mexican began print as a daily newspaper in 1881 and hasn’t ceased print since. Library of Congress records show that it was published every day besides Monday – a tradition that the publication withheld until 1885. Currently, The New Mexican prints daily and publishes online daily as well. Aside from traditional sections such as news, sports and opinion, the New Mexican also offers a weekly arts magazine edition named Pasatiempo (Spanish for “pastime” or “hobby”) where reporters highlight local arts, performances, music, restaurants and give reviews on books. Pasatiempo is offered as an insert in the New Mexican’s Friday print edition as well as on newsstands throughout downtown Santa Fe.
